SaaShop is an open marketplace. We connect SaaS products for companies looking for them. We are a trusted advisor and a place to find the best SaaS products for your various business needs. Our Finnish co-brand is Ohjelmistoja.fi, where we pilot our online sales in Finnish market. However, our goal is to grow into an international marketplace and to do this we need good people in our team.  Maybe you’re one of them?

As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you are a crucial part of the SaaShop Marketplace development team.

You are responsible for developing the Marketplace Seller Console, which includes the functionalities (API management, product management, reporting, etc.) for managing the SaaShop.com marketplace from the seller perspective (SaaS company).

You are also enthusiastic in seeking a new and creative ways to effectively build an easy-to-use and UX-friendly applications with Vue.js framework. Alternatively you can tell us good reasons to use other framework (React or Angular). In other words, you can influence the choice of technology.

What would the Marketplace Seller Console developing consist of?

• user interfaces
• handling data through both internal APIs and 3rd party APIs
• functionalities for managing the seller account
• functionalities for viewing data on tables and graphs
• functionalities for configuring settings
• offering users great user experience.

Majority of the maintenance and development of the SaaShop Marketplace platform is outsourced to various partners, so you can focus on the SaaS Seller Console Development while working closely with service partners (Pilvi, Osaango, Louhi).

We offer you an interesting, independent and contributing role in heart of SaaShop Marketplace development. Your work will have direct impact to the global SaaS ecosystem and the way how the SaaS-products are tested and bought.

Although you are independently responsible of your own area of work, we offer you a support and coaching when you feel you need it. Your team leader, mentors and co-workers are specialists with 10+ years of development experience.

Our cross-company development team consists of skilled, talented and experienced professionals, with the mix of young innovative emerging star-players.

So, what we are looking for?

We expect you to be experienced in (you don’t have to be a pro in everything, but you must have a good skills in most areas, or you are willing to learn them quickly.)

• JavaScript
• Modern JavaScript framework or library (Vue, Angular or React)
• HTML & CSS
• Ability to produce software specifications and write documentation for public website.
• Integration experience, including REST API with JSON
• Version control tools (Git)

We also value your knowledge and experience in:

• Software design experience, including data modeling
• Cloud architecture and serverless technologies (especially from Amazon AWS)
• Python development
• API definitions, for example OpenAPI, Swagger or RAML
• Continuous integration (for example Jenkins, Bamboo)

As your personal qualities:

You have good analytical skills and conceptual thinking. Your working methods are systematic, persistent and responsible manner. You have good social and cooperation skills and you are able to communicate and collaborate both with technical and business-minded co-workers and partners. We expect you to have good English language skills. Finnish language skills are an advantage.
